Nena- Ana Maria Rutenberg studied art & design in Mexico, Italy and Germany. Following a successful career as a Graphic Designer in Mexico and Montreal, in 1996, Ana Maria decided to fully dedicate her time to her passion for painting watercolours. Acrylics have entered her world expanding her artistic horizon. Some of her brightly coloured landscapes, flowers and special themes reflect her Mexican heritage.
Her artwork has won awards and has been selected in various juried shows. As an artist, she takes part in local art exhibitions in the Ottawa area. Some of her paintings are in private collections in Mexico and Canada. Ana Maria lives in Ontario and is a member of the Kanata and Stittsville Art Groups, OMMA, NFAL and the owwa gallery in Stittsville.
