Angela Kilby has enjoyed over forty years of stimulating creativity
in the Ottawa area, with students of all ages.
Trained in England as a primary school teacher she specialized in Art
Education. In Canada she continued her studies at the University of
Ottawa in Fine Arts and The Ottawa School of Art. She also has
diplomas in Recreation Leadership and Gerontology from Algonquin College.
Angela has had the privilege of developing and teaching art programs
for local school boards, the City of Ottawa, Nepean Visual Arts
Centre and the Haliburton School of Fine Arts. She continues to teach
oil and acrylic painting, special programs for the elderly and art retreats.
Now, semi-retired, she enjoys her summers painting and tending to her
perennial garden, travelling, folk dancing and passing on her talents
to her grandchildren.
Angela is an active member of OWAA, NFAL and KAC.
She has exhibited at various Ottawa art shows, including the Tulip
Festival. Her paintings have been sold in Canada and Europe.
She enjoys sharing her talents and often paints commissions of
gardens, landscapes and contemporary large canvasses to suit individual decor.
