Art has been playing a ‘hide and seek game’ with me since I was a child. Now, it has come to stay and become an integral part of me. It started with sketching and drawing, then, as I progressed to painting in various media, from watercolour, to oils and to acrylics, Art became a new language to express the interesting things around me, from landscapes, seascapes, flora and fauna, fantasy, still life studies and people. I’ve exhibited through the Arts Ottawa East group, the Ottawa West Arts Association, various Church exhibits in Ottawa and Richmond, the Cedarhill Golf Club and currently at the Goulbourn Community Centre on a monthly basis. I also create unique, original pieces of jewellery, using natural and Semiprecious Stones, Glass, Sterling Silver wiring as well as other metals. Also, I dabble in soapstone sculpture and making bird houses, but that is another story!
