My art training began at the Banff School of Fine Arts in 1967 and has continued ever since. I am particularly interested in composition and the use of colour. In my work I try to focus on and pay close attention to these elements. My sources for subject matter come mostly from simple, everyday sights experienced in the Ottawa Valley, and from my travels abroad. Other sources are requests from family, friends and clients.
