Patrick Bourke has stood out in a thunderstorm on the Ottawa River working with logs in the timber trade, caught salmon on the Klukshu River in the Yukon Territory, picked apples on Vancouver Island and jigged for cod from Prince Edward Island. He has driven the Trans-Canada in minus forty weather heading into Winnipeg in the distance and swam in Lake Temagami. Pat has panned for gold outside of Dawson City at Eldorado Creek and paddled on Mush and Bates Lakes. He has lingered on the shores of the Gaspe and ate peaches in Osoyoos. He has walked to the glacier at Atlin Lake and watched the tides swell in the Bay of Fundy. And most of all, he has humbly tried to honor this great country, by taking photographs and writing songs. This country has showered him with many riches and he wants to return the favor. Welcome to some of these places which he feels so strongly about, woven in a web of photographs and songs.
