SUE PERLEY-ROBERTSON is an award winning abstract artist who enjoys playing with the vibrant rich colours of oil, acrylic and watercolour. Her vivid abstract images invite the viewer to become involved in the emotion, movement and energy of each unique painting.
When creating a painting she allows the paint to flow and direct her towards the creation not knowing in advance what the outcome will be taking her cue from what transpires on the canvass along with her technical experience to create an energetic abstract painting.
Sue is a founding member and current Chair of the Ottawa West Arts Association; that operates the owaa gallery in Stittsville where she has exhibited her paintings since 2008. She is also a member of the Frederic Remington Art Museum in New York, Ottawa Arts Association, Arts Ottawa East Arts Council, Kanata Art Club and the Nepean Fine Arts League.
Sue’s paintings have been displayed in the Carrousel du Louvre Paris France, the Frederic Remington Art Museum in New York, a New York gallery, an International Art Exhibition in Montreal, many Ottawa area galleries and in numerous juried exhibitions.
