How to Set Your Avatar

An avatar is a small photo of you or, if you prefer, a small picture that represents you, like one of your paintings or photographs. The picture you use should be about 300 x 200 pixels if rectangular, or 300 x 300 if square. If you can't re-size your picture yourself, please ask one of your photographer colleagues for help. Save the jpeg picture on your computer where you can find it.  Here is how to set, or change, your avatar...

As you finish off your paintings for the next exhibition, you might want to think about how they will look on our website. Even the most beautiful paintings may disappoint when viewed on a website if you don't take a good, sharp photo. Remember, we don't want to see your frame and we really don't want there to be reflections or bright spots. Here is a link to a good 4-minut...
As you finish off your paintings for the next exhibition, you might want to think about how they will look on our website. Even the most beautiful paintings may disappoint when viewed on a website if you don't take a good, sharp photo. Remember, we don't want to see your frame and we really don't want there to be reflections or bright spots. Here is a link to a good 4-minute video that will give you some tips on how to take the picture and then to adjust and crop it properly so it will look great when displayed on our website.
