Sodaba Mehraeen
About
Sodaba completed her elementary and secondary
schooling in 2006 at Kabul, Afghanistan. Due to
her passion to arts, in 2007, she joined to the
Contemporary Arts Centre for Women in Kabul
Afghanistan. Sodoma's studied painting,
miniature, art installation and photography at the
arts Centre. Soon after, she become a formal
member of the Contemporary Arts Centre for
Women.
Sodaba's artwork that has been exhibited in
several exhibitions in the Centre and abroad.
Some of these exhibitions include Women's Day
Exhibition on March 8th at Kabul University,
Embassy of Canada and at an exhibition in
Norway. While working at the Contemporary Arts
Centre for women, Sodaba managed to establish
her own Art Centre in Kabul called Shamamah
Arts gallery, which helps women sculptors exhibit
their work by organizing exhibitions for them.
