Aside from three years living in Africa and two years in the South Pacific, I have resided in Goulbourn Township for most of my adult life. The first nine years of my life, I spent living on the Isle of Man but after emigrating to Canada, I grew up in Wellington, Prince Edward County. Over the years, I have dabbled in many art forms; sewing, basketry, flower arrangement, water colours, mixed media, etc. Although I have taken many courses over the years, I would consider myself self taught, with no extensive formal training. My latest endeavour has been to work with alcohol ink. I love the translucency, vibrant colour and fluidity of the ink. The ink also combines my love of the abstract.
