I have always been fascinated by how colour affects everything in our surroundings. I grew up in Northern Ontario and was lucky enough to spend the summer at our cottage on Remi Lake. There was so much to see and explore. One of our lake neighbours was a watercolour artist and I still remember the first time I saw one of his paintings…I was hooked. However, it would be many years before I would be given a Christmas gift of art lessons at a local gallery, and as they say, “the rest is history”. I started in Watercolour then tried oil, acrylic and colour pencil. My happiest days are when I’m painting.
